Crown plaza smelled like mildew upon arrival.

When we arrived at the hotel we were informed that there had been a flood and we would be put up in another hotel about twenty miles away. I know thing are sometimes out of our hands, however, this was a huge inconvenience. I had small children and thirty extra minutes was madness in the rain. The hotel the Marriott was nice. We were relocated to another hotel-Marriott because of the storm damage. We were celebrating a birthday weekend and it wasn't very good. We had to check out the Marriott at 11 am and couldn't check back in the Crowne until 4pm. The rooms were small. The staff were very friendly, but we were very inconvenienced this weekend. The hotel was everything it was advertised to be..no surprises.
The parking was secure and adequate, however you do have to be outside, uncovered for a short distance to get to the hotel.

Everything was recently remodeled with a very attractive marine theme. The rooms were clean, fresh, and well appointed. We had a view of the marina through beautiful floor to ceiling windows. The only thing I missed was a small refrigerator, and that may have been available in a suite. ...read more

Hotel needs a good renovation for the rooms and hallways.

Needs a lot of work and upgrading. The lobby was nice but the rest needs some money spent on it.
